Shishkabob’d (Vol 2 Pg43)
I had an awesome time at ECCC. Turns out people are into bear hybrids. My Bears of the Apocalypse book sold well. I also got to hang out with Kailey, aka the greatest colorist on the internet:
I really need to give in and do a Bearmageddon book kickstarter. I think I’m afraid if it fails I’ll lose steam and not finish. I just know if the book was for sale it would open it up to a whole other audience who doesn’t real comics on screens. If only I had $10,000 laying around.
Read next week’s page and see this one in super high resolution when you join me on Patreon. Here is some recent Patreon bonus content for $5-10/month:
Flip through the new book I made with the Make a Wish Foundation
Tutorial on drawing guns and other 3D objects using Sketchup
See the 13 page full color pitch bible for the show “Rocket Monster Super Club” optioned by Cartoon Network
Tutorial on drawing backgrounds and perspective using Sketchup and Manga Studio
Also, there is a private Facebook group where I check in every week, have a pipe and a chat about what’s been going on, answer questions and generally get to know you guys.
Try it for $5/month and see if you find it worth it. If you do a month and didn’t enjoy it, send me an email and I will refund your money.

Not to be that person, but the bear that got stuck on the spikes doesn’t have any gliders as shown in the first image. Still awesome that we see the Dear making a introduction.
Because that’s a bear from earlier; the glider bear struck the right side of the truck.
The flaps are there, but they are aimed down so they look like fur. You can see the webbing on the tail. It’s subtle, but it’s not supposed to be real obvious except when the bear goes spread eagle.
Uh oh. Stag bear is here!
At first glance, the two bears in front of stag bear looked to me like stag bear’s arms. Now THAT is a bear hybrid I would like to see, maybe some sort of Final Boss scenario.
Definitely interesting!
Just what this world needs; voltron-bears.
