Welcome back!
I’m kind of sad, because I was working hard, cranking out pages of Bearmageddon, and then my funky glitch just started deleting pages and artwork randomly and it really made me lose steam. I haven’t drawn all week. Too scared. Manga Studio is working with me to fix the issue. I can’t believe, after so many years using it I only now start to have this trouble.
Anyway, we will get it figured out because the show must go on. Thanks for stopping by.
Ethan
By now that head must be getting pretty rancid. Nigel is actually risking some heavy ass hand infections there.
It’s a new head, they just beheaded the last bear they killed.
And please lets not confuse Gogs with Nigel…
My bad.
Which studio version do you use?
EX 5
Have you ever looked into a versioning system? They’re invaluable to me as a software engineer, but I would guess they’d be helpful when creating any sort of digital product.
Couldn’t work without version control. Here’s a few options:
– I see LayerVault advertised for version control for creatives
– DropBox offer ‘pack rat’ which keeps every version of every file in your Dropbox that got uploaded to their severs and you can use the website to roll back
– You could always use what us programmers use. Something like git (Sourcetree is a free GUI client) – but that’s more designed towards plain text files (it’ll work but will require effort and will be ugly)
– there’s always time machine on the mac
Yeah I already have DropBox ‘Packrat’ and that did not work because I was traveling so much, no other versions of the files had a chance to save. I will have to check out this layer vault. Thanks!
O boy, the last frame!
Well, that didn’t take very long.
Oh shit, there’s a bear.
The metal fence. Gogs is surrounded by fence…
It’s okay! Bears can’t climb mesh fences. They get confused and fly into them and die.
That’s good to know. I was getting worried.
Boy, that escalated quickly
KNCH! It’s been said before, and needs to be again- Awesome sound effects in this comic.
