Sorry for the day-late post. Yesterday I went to open this file to post it, because I KNEW I had drawn this page already. I could visualize it in my mind, DONE. But then I realized it was only penciled, not inked, and the inking takes a lot of time and I already had a pretty full day. It was date night, and me and Mrs. Nicolle don’t get date night very often. I knew you would all understand. I ended up staying up intil 3am inking this, but I did not have the energy to letter it and post it before passing out. So, I did it this morning. OK so now it is afternoon. I slept in.
Thanks for keeping up with Bearmageddon! I am eager to get on to the upcoming scenes, even though I’m pretty sure they will give me carpal tunnel. I love this comic!
Oh, and by the way… I know there were typos on the page last week. For some reason on our new set up I can not replace an image once it is posted. We tried every which way we could think of and outside of completely deleting the post (and the comments with it), then reposting it again, I could not get the new image with the spelling errors fixed to show up even though I replaced the file 6,000 times. So… yeah, I apologize for the typos. I’ll try to do better next time because apparently the new website does not forgive mistakes EVER.
Ethan
P.S. Whether or not you are a fan of Axe Cop, you should check out the new episode from last Saturday. It’s too good to miss. I say that with absolutely no bias.
Your problems with getting the fixed image to show up may be an issue with your site caching. Probably just have to clear the server’s cache for that post.
Yeah, it’s definitely a server caching problem — our host lets us clear the cache, but even that didn’t do it. We’ll figure it out at some point, for now it’s just extra incentive for Ethan not to make typos!
You’ll also need to clear your local browser cache.
Gotta have date night!
They’re going to have serious PTSD after this
and yeah the axe cop show is absolutely great. it translates the flavor of the comic while still being worth it to see, rather than just a rehash
I’m suddenly starting to feel sorry for the bears.
I’m completely addicted to this comic, the art is great and the story is just fun. Glad to see Joel finally doing more than making good decisions!
What one man can do, another can do.
The absolute worst thing is that this story structure almost necessitates Dickinson’s death. His presence is far too much of a comfort in a story centered on suspense/horror.
Shhhhh, it’ll just be his disappearance. Then his epic come back after the finale
So… Is the bear battle print still going to happen? I’m sorry if I missed where you already answered this.
Ethan is still working to get enough people signed up. Taking orders was delayed with the blog being down and the paypal scripts getting lost, but I think I’ve got that fixed up now: http://bearmageddon.com/bear-battle-print/
