Roll On Eighteen Wheeler
Jun21
When I was in the band, Lunaractive, Alabama’s Roll On Eighteen Wheeler became sort of our road anthem whenever we took to the highways and rocked the land.
I’m going to keep this short today because my pregnant wife is sick and I’m not feeling so good myself.
You may have noticed a redesign on the site today. It’s actually in the process of being redesigned right now, that’s why I haven’t made a big deal about it yet. Feel free to let me know if you catch outdated stuff I need to fix.
Thanks for reading!
Ethan
Well it’s… kind of spartan, just all white, but it’s not a bad redesign. I think a comic with this much heavy shadow in it worked better on a black-background site, personally. I just hope you aren’t doing it to fit in with the likes of tapastic and webtoons.
Woooo pregners! Congrats! Incoming new little bear cub.
Well, when we laid out the graphics on WebToon I liked the look of it a lot. Plus, I felt like the site needed an update. The main thing I wanted was to clear up the clutter and make it easier to read. I think this does that.
CHBRAK!
Loving that last line!
Site redesign was a bit of a shock, partially because everything loaded a lot faster on my phone than it normally does. The header is neat, the white background does feel a bit bare (or bear) but it’s nothing I can’t get over (though it does make the twitter feed look a little odd, at least on mobile)
Yeah but I do think that it’s easier on the eyes to read. I always hated the white on black text in the blogs and comments.
“A newspaper was like the internet but printed out”
Well, maybe The Sun.
Wouldn’t it be a before-school job with how early the papers need to arrive? Perhaps they could be transported by eighteen-wheeler first…
No, the bear did underestimate the eighteen-wheeler’s balance. However, the fact that it seemed to be trying to burst tires is interesting. Also, Alabama! Woo!
Why is Burton on the new title picture when he was barely important to the plot at all?
you’re right, but he has a *really* good booking agent
