I had a great time at Phoenix Comic Con last weekend. Below are some pictures of the experience. I know I look really serious in many of these pictures. That’s just my drawing face, I swear. I actually forgot my banner and was fairly well hidden, so congrats to everyone who managed to find me.

All kinds of good feelins today.
I hope this guy’s name is Ryan. Or better yet, Eric from Jurassic Park 3, where the rescue mission wiped out everyone but the archeologists and the family. Still, for the duration of this rescue mission, I think the bear deaths outnumber humans.
It’s nice to see that her father actually survived!
I wonder if Joel’s hairstyle is based on Danny Phantom/Danny Fenton’s hairstyle?
It’s actually based on both Dr. Ong from Creature Tech and Nes’s hair from the old Nintendo Power comics.
Joel’s expression in the last panel is absolutely *perfect*. Happy, but kinda awkwardly embarrassed at the scene, trying not to stare…
