Bat Feces in a Straight Jacket Comin’ Out a Firehose
Sep15
Well, I have been busy this week. First, I apologize for the later-than-usual page but sometimes life happens and the bearsembly line gets choked up for a bit. I would write you a really great blog right here, but I have a ton of other things to do. Besides, you may have missed some of this great stuff I posted recently.
- My blog “How to put success where it belongs if you love webcomics” on my own site is my explanation of why any fan of webcomics should be supporting their favorite creators on Patreon. Please give it a read.
- I wrote the first chapter in a very honest telling of my experience making Axe Cop. If you have any interest in what it looks like to have your comic blow up over night then kinda fizzle out, read. This first entry starts in the middle, the day I met Nick Offerman for lunch and went on my second date with my future wife.
- I interviewed Mac Smith, creator of Scurry, the most beautiful web comic I have seen in a long time in this week’s web comic of the week, cleverly titled The Scurry Guy gets interviewed by the Axe Cop Guy.
- People who are supporting my work for $2 or more on Patreon get to see full PDFs of my TV show pitches one by one, including the one mentioned in the Axe Cop story above. $5 and up get a PDF of the brand new book I JUST finished and probably will not hit shelves for a long time. They also get Dickinson Killdeer’s Guide to Bears of the Apocalypse before anyone else.
- Don’t miss my review of Bear in the Back Seat. Especially if you are looking for audio books that entertain the whole family.
- And of course, there’s been plenty of bear news to keep up on.
That’s all I’ve got for now. Thanks for reading, and to my newest Patreon members! See you next week, or sooner.
Ethan
That full version of Ken’s line was beautiful.
Thank you, thank you.
I love the survivor just building a giant LEGO city.
It comes into play. He’s thinking ahead.

OMG That Ken quote alt text is awesome! I wonder if it is the longest sentence in the English language?
