We haven’t had a good bloody page for a while, so here’s one. Sorry Bear Mole, you were no match for Gogs and his garage of tools of death. The tent spike move is straight out of the bible. Maybe that redeems this page a little, but probably not.
If you live in or are willing to travel to the Los Angeles area, I am part of this seminar on Making Money in Web Comics at Gallery Nucleus on March 1st. You can sign up for the class, or just come at 4:00 to get some books signed. I’ll have a few for sale as well I think.
Ethan
I just noticed the brand name of the lawnmower, lol
Ha! I though of Jael the moment I saw this. Nice Judges reference, Ethan.
YES! See the Bible is RELEVANT, kids.
Yay, Gogs got his kill! Good thing he got something out of all this. Maybe he finally learned that doing what’s best is far more important than looking cool doing it?
GOGS rose to LVL. 2! Common Sense +2, Endurance +5, Weapon Crafting +12.
GOGS has learned “DON’T PUNCH BEARS”! SURVIVABILITY buff increased by 30%.
LIMIT BREAK: TENT PEG OF JUDGEMENT learned!

AWESOME!!! I mean, even dad looks impressed in the picture.
Now I want to keep a pair of goggles on my head at all times…because you never know. When you might have to mow. A bearmole.
Dear Ethan and Kailey,
I want you to know that the last two lawnmower scenes made me cringe. I expect it’s due to the coloring and sound effect words. Since I assume this is the reaction you’re trying to evoke, this is proof you guys are doing a wonderful job.
Thank you.
Jael with the nail.
*reads about adding blood in shifts and LOLs* awesome page!
It’s not over! There’s still a herd of bears outside! Prepare for the second wave!
Awesome comic. I check frequently with my fingers crossed, hoping for a new page. 🙂
And then a thousand more bearmoles crawl out of the same hole.
I have to say that as far as killing bearmoles goes, Gogs really nailed it.
Gogs just learned that if you pull off doing something right, chances are you’ll look cool doing it anyway.
That was pretty badass.
this comic is so addicting that I read it in two days, 😉 ,thanks ethan best comic ever. Can’t wait 10 more days ontill march:( but I can’t wait to see what happens to nigel can’t wait till Saturday ethier for Axe cop
p.s nice to know you’re a Christian , I think 😉
Yeah, if this comic was written by a heathen, I’d probably hate it. Go Team Christ!
How do you manage to mix Stick Figures and Comic Anatomy altogether in a WebComic like Bearmageddon, I wish I could Write and Draw an Original WebComic like you, if there were a How To Draw by you I would master your skills, take influence from them, and get inspired by them altogether, man it would be wonderful to have a How To Draw Comics tutorial book from You, I wish I had a Style just like that, I love Gorillaz esque Stick Figures and Don Bluth’s 80’s cartooning anatomy, I have been experimenting on art technique to create my style for years and I know I’m still missing something in my artwork, I just know it.
I don’t normally swear but SHIT YEAH!!!
Gogs on his way to being a bit redeemed. Joel with nightmares. Where is this gonna go next? There’s still a freakin load of bears out around them…
Some relief for the survivors pack… Next is what?!
wow…took me a lil bit and i just realized how Gogs had to hold that spike…
that Had to freakin hurt!!!
they will use the bear mole tunnel to escape.
Our team has proven themselves. 🙂
That was AWESOME.
Great page Mr. Nicolle,
I discovered this comic one weekend a month or two ago and managed to catch up in two days, it’s a very good comic. I had never thought to look at webcomics, and had never given much thought to the ones I had seen, but yours definitely opened my eyes to how compelling they can be. I enjoy all of the thought and detail that goes into every page, such as the brand name on the lawn mower and the many other small jokes that you make throughout the comic. I wanted to ask how much research you put into each page. The thing that made me wonder was the page that said the star-nosed-mole-bear’s hide was too thick for spears, did you actually research to see if moles have thick hides or was that simply a dramatic addition to add to the helplessness of the heroes? I feel it has to be said again, this comic is incredible, it has a wonderful mix of comedy and drama, it has a better plot line with better development than some of the books I’ve read and video games I’ve played. Keep it up Mr. Nicolle, you’re doing an awesome job.
+1 for you sir!
If you enjoy Bearmageddon, I highly recommend you give DrMcninja a shot. It’s a similar level of epic badassery. http://drmcninja.com/archives/comic/0p1/
The first couple issues are just establishing plot and back story. Things really get rolling action/comedy-wise with the beginning of the DARE series. But they’re all good!
I agree Mooshka!
Dr. McNinja is pretty amazing…and Ethan did a crossover comic with Axe Cop and Dr. McNinja too!
Also, I love Jason Brubaker’s Remind series which is also available online for free. (I bought the bound editions myself and LOVE them).
