Take it to the bridge! Tensions build on the bridge and another page I want to thank the colorists for working so hard on. I saw John, who color flatted this page, tweet this:
This week’s flat color@Bearmageddon page is over 370 layers. That’s 370 * 4125w * 6300h ~= almost 10 billion pixels. My hand is sore.
That doesn’t even include the work that went into penciling, inking and the rest of the coloring Noah did.
Anyway, enough horn-tooting about our hard work. I have a few announcements. First, if you live in So Cal, Friday night I will be at Meltdown comics competing in SUPER ART FIGHT. I’ll happily sign anything you bring as well or draw in your sketch book too. Or just hang out and chat. It should be pretty fun, I competed in Super Art Fight in Boston and cleaned up when I drew a pretty awesome dinosaur puppy that melted the audience’s heart.
Also in New York next month Malachai and I will be keynote speakers at Webvisions. This will be geared more toward our presence on the net rather than in comics, but it will be a lot of fun because Malacha will be there to do the Axe Cop Q&A. My whole family is going to be going. My Dad used to live in New York and has talked about it our whole life. It will be cool to get to finally go there with my Dad.
What else? Well, this is all Axe Cop stuff but there is a bunch of new prints available in the store. Also, another short of the Axe Cop show came out from Fox ADHD this week and it is awesome. Also, another new episode from RugBurn which you should subscribe to. I for one want to see a Bearmageddon series or movie. Maybe we should just hold out for the movie on this one.
Alright, back to my life. Thanks for reading, I love this comic.
